The HSI concluded the midday up 19 points or 0.1% at 26,466. The HSCEI rose 9 points or 0.1% to 9,394. The HSTECH gained 23 points or 0.4% to 6,067. The total market turnover at midday reached HKD160.182 billion. In the pharma sector, BAYZED HEALTH (02609.HK) was hyped up 76.6%, with a midday turnover of HKD3.31 billion. BRAINAURORA-B (06681.HK) and TRANSTHERA-B (02617.HK) rocketed 37% and 49%, with midday turnovers of HKD2.5 billion and HKD1.92 billion, respectively. All three have been recently included in the Southbound Stock Connect. In addition, TYK MEDICINES-B (02410.HK) spiked 36%, with a midday turnover of over HKD1.82 billion. Contrarily, CSPC PHARMA (01093.HK), CANSINOBIO (06185.HK), and FOSUN PHARMA (02196.HK) tumbled 3.4-3.8%. INNOCARE (09969.HK) even plunged 5.1%. Among tech stocks, TENCENT (00700.HK) inched up 0.4% to HKD646, while BABA-W (09988.HK) dipped 0.3% to HKD154.1. MEITUAN-W (03690.HK) and BILIBILI-W (09626.HK) grew 2.3% and 2.8%. XIAOMI-W (01810.HK), NTES-S (09999.HK), and BIDU-SW (09888.HK) added 0.9-1.7%. KUAISHOU-W (01024.HK) and JD-SW (09618.HK) lost 0.6% and 1.3%. SMIC (00981.HK) edged up 0.2%. ALI HEALTH (00241.HK), MEITU (01357.HK), KINGSOFT CLOUD (03896.HK), PA GOODDOCTOR (01833.HK), and JD HEALTH (06618.HK) also retreated 4-4.9%.
